Adopt a Bed is actively picking up mattress donations in Provo, Orem or anywhere in Utah county. If you have a mattress return from a bed in a box company, you can get a charity receipt you need to get your refund.
Adopt a Bed is a registered 501(c)3. If it doesn’t qualify for a refund, you can still get a donation receipt for your taxes.
To initiate a pick up, fill out our mattress pick up form. An Adopt a Bed rep in your area (Spanish Fork, Tooele, Highland, Springville, Alpine, Lindon, etc) will contact you to arrange a time. If anyone calls to schedule a mattress return or says they are affiliated with Adopt a Bed, please contact us to confirm.
We accept online mattress brands such as (this is a small representation):
- Purple mattress
- Nectar
- Dreamcloud
- Wink Bed
- Puffy
- Brentwood Home
- Ghostbed
- Lull
- Helix
- Nest
- Voila
Basically we accept mattresses that have a sleep trial that requires that you find a charity to donate your mattress to. Or, if your mattress it outside the return window or not purchased online, it needs to be good to like new condition and be about 2 years old or less.
If able, we always appreciate if you can drop off your bed at Adopt a Bed in Salt Lake (by appointment only).
